There is no draft restriction at Fairway Buoy and available draft is 13-14 M.

At Fairway Buoy for STS operation is permissible by Payra Port Authority from mid-September to the end of March.

Anchorage: A wide anchorage area is established at the outer and inner anchorage of PPA.

Fairway Buoy Anchorage: Lat 21 21.9 N, Long 090 06.1 E.

Inner Anchorage: Lat 21 56.0 N, Long 090 17.8 E.

Vessel with a 6-6.5 m draft can enter/depart through the Rabnabad Channel with the tide.

Tidal range: Tides are semi-diurnal with prominent diurnal effect. The approx. tidal range is between 1.0 and 3.0 m.

Pilotage: Pilotage is compulsory.

Bulk cargo discharging by ship's crane and grabs by STS operation at anchorage.

There is no congestion to call any vessel at Payra Fairway Buoy and inner anchorage and berth subject to permissible draft.

Vessel can arrive safely at Payra Port BCCPL service jetty with permissible draft.

Maximum permissible LOA of a vessel is 200 meters, width 30 meters with draft about at permissible limits.

At Payra Port vessel can work round the clock even in holiday and vessel can continue work by paying double payment.

Payra Port water density varies 998-1001 kg/m3.
