There is no draft restriction at Fairway Buoy and available draft is 13-14.5 M.
Max LOA 200 M. At Fairway Buoy for STS operation is permissible by Mongla Port Authority from October to the end of March.
Vessel with a 8.0-8.5 m draft can enter/depart through the new channel (anchorage area Harbaria-12, Harbaria-13, and Sundarikota 2 to Sundarikota-6).
Bulk cargo discharging done by ship's crane and grabs by STS operation.
There is no congestion to call any vessel at Mongla Fairway Buoy and Harbaria anchorage subject to permissible draft.
Vessel can make direct berthing upon arrival by achieving permissible draft.
At Mongla vessel can work round the clock even in holiday and vessel can continue work by paying double payment.
Water density varies 998-1003 kg/m3.
